Half a Century
of the Right Way

California Sandwiches has been serving the community for over 50 years, and in that time, very little about the way we do things has changed. That's not stubbornness — that's pride. Our traditional methods of food preparation have stood the test of time because they work, because they produce something real, and because our guests deserve nothing less.

Every morning, before the first customer walks through our door, our Italian chef is already in the kitchen preparing the day's specials from scratch. No shortcuts. No compromises. The sauces, the fillings, the flavours — built from the ground up, every day, the same way they always have been.

Our buns are baked fresh at a local bakery and delivered to us daily. They arrive warm, soft, and ready — because a great sandwich starts with great bread, and great bread doesn't sit on a shelf for three days. We insist on this. We always have.

Our cheese is sliced and portioned as each order comes in. Our produce is prepared on demand. Nothing in our kitchen is pre-cooked, pre-packaged, or pre-prepared — because the moment you start cutting corners, you start losing what makes the food worth eating in the first place.

We are a family business in the truest sense of the word. The values that opened our doors in 1967 are the values that keep them open today: quality you can taste, honesty you can trust, and a sandwich you'll think about long after the last bite.
